The PH12B runs a ZS CB250 air-cooled engine with both electric and kick start. The power is on the mild side, which can make it easier to control when you’re still getting used to the bike or riding slower trails. The PE28 carb gives it a simple, direct feel when you open the throttle.
The bike is around 103kg, so moving it around or shifting your weight on tighter paths doesn’t feel too demanding. The seat height is about 880mm, which seems to work for riders who are familiar with dirt bikes—it gives some height to see ahead but doesn’t feel overly tall for most people. Ground clearance is roughly 330mm, enough for small logs or uneven ground without thinking too much about it.
It has a steel frame and steel swingarm, giving the bike a straightforward, solid feel. The upside-down front fork and rear shock are non-adjustable, so you don’t have to spend time tuning them—just ride and get used to how the suspension behaves.
The wheel setup is 21″ in the front and 18″ in the rear, paired with alloy rims and enduro tires. The wider 110/90-18 rear tire gives a bit more grip on loose or sandy ground. The fat alloy handlebar feels comfortable when standing up on the pegs or shifting body position.
